I think in the site can be Games list (all WCL rated games maybe with other info). That will be very good i think, becouse in our site this look very nice.

Fabio, you already registered :-) just play and report games.

Probably one simple IRC chat in the site will be good. There will be no need to use and depend on gamespy. If you want to play - just go there and ask the online people. In gamespy you have to install the arcade. If you go to internet cafe (in our country its still used a lot), they dont allow you to install anything.

there is no need in "unreported games" link on WCL. In other leagues there is such link because both players must submit final report. In WCL only one player submits final report. If both players decided not to submit final report - then game is considered not finished.

I'm new to H3 online play.How does GameSpy works?I found the Heroes 3 rooms says number of registred players but is only me in the room :(.Can anybody give me any ideas how should i make it posible to play online?

most people are online at evenings (in Europe). Have patience, it may take 30-60 minutes to find opponent, especially if you are new

Sorry for posting another message here but i really want play this game online for da sake of old times :P.Anywayz here is the problem:i join heroes 3 rooms on gamespy and there is nobody to join there so i wait in vain.On other forums they say u have to go game lobby but there i have option only to invite users to play a game and not to chat with them.If i press Main Lobby i would get the error "This program cannot display the webpage".Of course nobody accept the invitation and maybe if they do i have no idea if game should start or how this thing work if it does :).

Just one idea... maybe worth of discussing. What if you changed rating system so, that winning with weak towns, gave some extra bonus to acquired points? This would give more advanced players a motivation to try say Inferno, Tower, Dungeon against their opponents.

How to figure out, which are the weakest towns and how much weaker they actually are? Some experienced players could do map Tourney, where all conditions are about to equal(same size of army, same skills, same magic). At the start of battle they write down total Hitpoints of their army and at the end, they calculate, how many % of hitpoints they had left... In battle they dont use resurrection and second hit from morale.

Well my all point is... that when winning with Inferno against Castle... IMO its worth some extra treat, say 50% of bonus to gained points... Maybe all towns would be played more equally...

Rating system should be more complicated overall. So that noob-killers and cheaters could not rule there. For example, if more than 50% of all games are played against one player, points will not be added or something like this.

And i cant see, where I can see HONORABILITY of players. I would like to use this possibility, when choosing opponents.

Also finishing report could consist an option to add a screenshot from the beginning of last battle.

I agree with the proposals made by Dohh, expecially how to improve the rating system in order to prevent any kind of cheats.

-HONORABILITY: i have possibility to calculate it, however it's not very precise and needs deep long discussions...will not be released soon
-option to add a screenshot: yes, i will add possibility. will not be released soon, maybe in 3-5 monthes. i plan to do "WCL BLOGS" service :) , it will allow to add many comments/information about the game, that's more important and more easy
- rating formula change: maybe. regarding towns- try to use "elimination type" os selection of starting towns as described in default rules, it allowes different town choices

Sag, i've examined your html code and found you have problem with <p align="center"> covered iframes. Without this <p>'s in firefox all worked well. Remove they or change properly.
use firebug extension for firefox to see how page look when you editing it.

hi i asked myself is it possible hot seat games count as wcl games if 2 registered player do that..???

@Pavelismus: yes possible to report hot-seat games, if both players play in online too.

An excellent site indeed!
Some suggestions:

It would be a cool feature, if there were some icons u could get at the end of a season. Like eg. for every Rank a different monster (Knight = Swordsman / Baron= Wyver or Cow / Duke = Firebird ..so on )
This might attract more players around the globe. :-)

Furthermore few "special prices". For example for the player with the most games in a season -> ( the man from antarctica! ) :D
or the player of the month.. etc.

Considering Reporting System it would be interesting to know if the startin castles+heroes were chosen by the players or if they were randomly pickd. This detail could be showed with a small remark on the ALL Games List.

Finally my last proposal: SAG for President in Belarus next year. ;-) cheers

i need and expect better and faster response to escalations. it is now almost 3 months since certain player escalated some games against me and they are not decided yet.
also, it would be great if site had escalation statistics, such as player with most escalations initiated, player who received most escalations from other players, justified/denied escalations ratio, globally and per player etc.

How about Autosearch function ? Player just set their requirement and wait. System will match the same requirement and then start the game automatically.

that's not easy to launch game from browser. Also, people often discuss rules, wait for friends, etc. Perhaps I will be able to make autostart later, but not with high priority

Situation: my opponent get request from me to confirm the wcl game (we desided to play wcl) after 4th day of the game, but he didn’t confirmed the game until the end of the game.
Question: Is it honorable that your opponent want to confirm (or want to report) the wcl game only after the end of the game (actually only after his/her victory)?
My opinion: I think it is not honorable, because if the wcl game is not confirmed there is no evidence (on the heroes-iii server) that the game was played and the player who didn’t want to confirme the game in the case of his/her loss can simply leave the game confirmation in heroes-iii (I had such kind of experience with player registered in heroes-iii).
Suggestion: if the opponent do not confirm the wcl game on the 4th day of the game (from wcl default rules - “Player can take restart during first 3 own turns”) the game cannot be reported as wcl game, with exception if both (all) players agree with the wcl game results.

@Pikators: opponent should confirm game early (before game started or during first few turns). If game is not confirmed, then I will not consider that it was played. So, it up to you to demand confirmation or risk to play without report.
@suicid_peiarba: Yes, allowed by default rules. But you may play with any rules that you agree with your opponent. Don't forget to mention them in prereport.

Hi SAG, I played a game yesterday with sidorivan. I made the initial report, and he waited until afterwards to confirm the game. We were chatting while he tried, but he was unable to do so. He got the confirmation page that said "Game confirmed! Close this page." but the website didn't show a confirmed game for either of us. He tried several times. Is there a way to fix this problem so we can report the outcome of the game? Thanks,

In my very last games with JJ, i_love_jesus and LARRYBOSS i was in prety the same possition as you Mouse Hunter. The mentioned above opponents had refused my messages GR or hamache to finish the gameson . Whenever i found then online and text them, they goes offline.
After more then 2-3 months waiting i've reported the game vs JJ as my win, although was sure he'll escalate it (he just didn't wanted to finish it, as it nearly 99% sure i'll win). Prety the same situation with i_love_jesus. We had a game almost finished, we made save and next time he told me he lost the save due to reinstall of the game (my mystake here was i forgot to make saves for this game, as i was sure he is not dishonorable played-mystake!!!!). So the initial report was already done and we decided to start new one for the same report-OK no problem so far, but this player never showed himself after that. 2-3 months after i report as my win and on the same day he escalate.
With LARRYBOSS:
we start a game and initial report as well, so far so good. Sudenly we made save and after that he disapeared. Several times i've messaged him on GR when he showes and gess what, his wife told me every time that he is on work, although 2-3 minutes after i looked in wcl site and saw he was there and making reports with another players.
I don't mind if those players do not want to finish the games, but as far as i've expected they should show at least some respect to the other party and give some f..king explanation.
That wasn't my first and i'm afread won't be my last case with that kind of a " players ".
Nevertheles my request is still ongoing:
SAG please put some options in player deatils, so we can vote for honorable or dishonorable. I know it's not mush but it can give some view of what kind of a player you are dealling with.

how can i detect if an opponent is using it?

ghost heroes are heroes without any army (game bug). you can detect them by autosaves. use autosaver tool(e.g. with HD mod) to create saves automatically.

Hi i just won a match against molodoy and he dont wanna confirm me the game he get nervous coz he is a noob.. so pls.. do smtg.. i mean if ppl play here is to proove theyrselves... and for points.. if not we can simply stay out. i have the save so i can proove it!

@Alen. late answer, but better late then never. it's simple. opponent should confirm game before it's started or during first turns. if he refuses...that means he will not make any report anyway

Garden,sorry but i never said anything untrue. It was a FACT you made several turns in a row, every one longer than 30 minutes.And i asked you several times whats wrong before i stopped. It was not all of a sudden.

Pls stop bitching, because i never said anything bad for you. Its a fact you played slow, but i never accused you of cheating or anything of that matter.
